To familiarize yourself with the parts, lay them out on the floor as shown. Cables should lay on top of the frames (be careful you do not tangle cables with swing arms).

Tools Required for Assembly: Phillips Screwdriver Wrenches (provided)

Occasionally our products contain components that are pre-lubricated at the factory. We recommend that you protect flooring, or anything else the parts may contact, with newspaper or cloth.

b. Lying Out Swing Arms

Move the left and right swing arms to the center of the frame assembly as shown. Make sure the cables lay on the top of all pieces.

a. Base Frame Assembly

First, remove the 6, M8 x 25mm bolts and spring washers on the left and right base frames marked L and R with the arrows toward the front.

Second, use 4 of the M8 x 25mm bolts, 2 on each end, to attach the cross tube to the top of the base frame.

We recommend having someone available to help you. Due to the size and weight of some of the pieces, assembly is easier and safer if there are two people.

Third, attach the frame plates to each side of the base frames using (4) M10 x 95mm hex bolts and spring washers from the fastener pack. These bolts also secure the base frame to the cross tube. Tighten bolts.

If you do not wish to use the hydraulics, remove the clips and move the hydraulics into the zero resistance slot. Replace both clips.

NOTE: There are 4 levels of resistance on the unit. Begin exercising at Level 1 (zero resistance) and slowly advance to the next level when the current level becomes too easy. The levels increase as you move the pin towards you to the next position.

Resistance RESISTANCE LEVELS TO INSTALL YOUR HYDRAULICS clip in zero resistance a . Fasten mounting brackets

to the outside edges of the left and right foot tubes using (2) hex bolts, (2) washers and (2) nylon nuts. Tighten bolts with wrenches provided.

d . Pull left hydraulic down to allow pin to pass

through resistance hole in mounting bracket. For ease of assembly, raise foot platform slightly so pin can reach mounting bracket.

e . Lock clip onto hydraulic pin. Repeat Steps d and e on right side. b . Mount left hydraulic to left swing arm using (1) spring, (1) M12 washer, (2) rubber pads, (1) M12 washer (1) M8 washer, (1) nut, and (1) nut cap. Note: the bottom of the hydraulic must have the pin facing the swing arm. c. Mount right hydraulic

to right swing arm using (1) spring, (1) M12 washer, (2) rubber pads, (1) M12 washer, (1) M8 washer, (1) nut and (1) nut cap.

Attaching the End Caps and Water Bottle Holder Determine which side of your unit you want the water bottle (shown on the left side here).

Attach the end cap onto the frame using a M6 x 40mm Phillips bolt in the lower hole only. Align the water bottle holder on the end cap so the tab on the back of the holder fits into the bottom hole of the end cap. Secure the water bottle in place with an M6 x 40mm Phillips bolt.

Attach the other end cap with (2) M6 x 40mm Phillips bolts. phillips bolts view as if stepping on unit Handlebar Assembly Remove the bolts and washers from the handlebars. Slide the handlebars into swing arms as shown.

On the front side of the unit, align the holes and insert bolts with washers. Tighten with the wrench provided.

Remove the two small screws from the bottom of the electronics with the screwdriver provided. Insert the two “AAA” batteries in the top housing.

Step 2: Attach the bottom housing with the large bolt provided in the bag with the batteries as shown.

Step 3: From the front of the unit, place the top housing onto the bottom housing and replace the two small screws

you removed in Step 1 as shown. reinsert the two small screws Remove the two small screws front view left frame c. Left Frame/Swing Arm Assembly

Raise the left frame (marked with the L and arrow facing the front) and secure it onto the left base frame using (4) of the M8 x 25mm hex bolts and spring washers you removed in step a.

When tightening these bolts, you can use the wrenches provided in either the fastener pack or the hydraulics fastener pack – whichever works best for you.

right frame right base e. Right Frame/Swing Arm Assembly

Raise the right swing arm and slide it onto the axle tube. Slide the other large washer onto the axle tube between the right swing arm and the right frame. Now raise and slide the right frame (marked with the R and the arrow facing the front) onto the axle tube. As you did before, gently move the axle tube forward and backwards until the notch “catches” in place while pushing the right frame on.

Secure everything onto the axle tube with the M8 x 25mm hex bolt, spring washer and washer that is left from your fastener pack.

Slip the right frame onto the base frame assembly and secure it using the M8 x 25mm hex bolts and spring washers you removed in step a.
